Heat Shrink Masterbatches

This Heat Shrinkable, heat-curable moulding compound is a specially engineered polyolefin-based formulation designed for manufacturing high-performance heat-shrinkable components.

It is meticulously blended with selected specialty additives and mould release agents to ensure smooth processing, excellent mouldability, and consistent product quality. Supplied without curing agents such as dicumyl peroxide, this heat shrink masterbatch guarantees exceptional long-term storage stability with no degradation in electrical or mechanical properties. The absence of peroxide also provides flexibility in production, as the curing agent can be precisely incorporated during processing through a two-roll mill or mixer prior to injection moulding.

Once processed, the compound exhibits outstanding weathering resistance, maintaining performance under prolonged exposure to sunlight, moisture, and harsh environments. Its high dielectric strength ensures superior electrical insulation, while its anti-tracking properties prevent surface leakage currents in high-voltage applications.
